I reckon hers is one of those shows that people hear because its on rather than actively listen to. As much because of the time of day it is broadcast as anything else really.

Never! I do understand why people don't really like Jo Whiley, but I do not understand why anyone would prefer Cotton to her.

Cotton is less pretentious - at least with her what you hear is what she is. Whiley was constantly trying to make out she had some kind of musical credibility which made her "special". Irritated me.

She infested Chris's show less though, there weren't incessant trails poisoning every hour, every day, with her stupid, inane gibberish.

And she didn't believe Chris' flirting was real, and pretend she's actually fending him off.

I'm guessing that was a production idea not Fearne thinking she was blessing Chris. She's not an idiot, she above anyone is playing it up for the radio. Also I don't know what station you're listening to but I've never heard trails for Fearne's show specifically every hour, there may be the occasional one and usually it's as part of a bigger package. You're being far more annoying slagging her off all the time on here than she is by having her own show which Radio 1 is paying her for. We get it, you don't like her.

I think for Joe that they should consider having a brief bit with him once a week next year. I think giving him a different challenge each week (not Twitter related) and the next week he says how successful or unsuccessful he was and then give him the next week's challenge. That's just me, your enjoyment or annoyance of him may vary. Other Joes are available.

The Everton lad is particular is very switched on to the show, the way he presented the twitter challenge this morning was very professional and funny. Would be great to see him get a full time radio gig before too long.

I listened to Tuesday's show at the end and realised that these are the same two guys that have been on for nearly 2 weeks or so because the 2nd guy (Warren) was the one with the radio show. And I am sorry but Joey is absolutely thick if he didn't know what the hashtag symbol was called (yeah it does look like a waffle but not the name). I had to switch it off since it just irritated me with Dave saying that he didn't want the both of them to go at all. So, I'll be giving CPC a miss until they're both off, which will be in the new year probably.

They haven't even played CPC at all this week with these two guys on judging from the bit I just listened to on Thursday's show.. Seriously, it is worse than when those two guys were on for 3 weeks back in May, at least they played the game! How long has Joey been on CPC since I think he has been on for a while if memory serves me right!

That was clearly the intention and I agree that is probably what they will try to do, but after today it will be a struggle to stretch it out for another three shows.

There is no point bringing in someone new in now only for them to be on once or so and probably won't be back in the New Year. If Chris and that sounded bored, no one to blame but themselves for keeping him on this long. Probably the people who watch The Only Way Is Essex relgiously love this guy on.

Anyone else feel that CPC is getting boring now? The only good part of it is with Roy's stuff beforehand. I forget the name of the guy now but I believe he has been on since they came back from their holidays and he hasn't won a single CPC yet I believe. Not his fault since half the time they don't bother doing it especially since they weren't going to do it today and Chris and the team couldn't remember their names. To be honest, I don't really listen to CPC that much anymore because I think it has gone downhill for a while now with the ood moment of brilliance on it from time to time.

CPC back in 2004 on the other hand was brilliant!

Cheggers' Pop Quiz was definitely in the "So shit it it's good" category. The odd joke did make me LOL though - I remember one about David Blaine preparing for being frozen into a block of ice by having an affair with Anne Robinson, with a particularly excited "WAYHEY!" at the end of it. That was pretty good.
