Forgive me for being skeptical, but I've seen a few attempts at meeting up get this far before. I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm not voting because I don't want to meet any of you, but if I was, it would be London because its the only place that pretty much everyone can get to directly without having to go via - well, London.

Tim is right that coastal towns would be a nightmare for some of us. Devon, for example, is about as far away from me as its possible to get apart from the highlands of Scotland - it would take literally most of a day to get there.

Birmingham is indeed central, but I've never been there and know nothing about it. For that reason I'd prefer London as I'm familiar with the transport links etc, even tho its further away from me.

With Birmingham though, once you're at New Street Station you're right in the middle of the town centre so it couldn't really be easier.

Speaking of the Scottish Highlands (well, almost) given that I'm in Aberdeen any English location is pretty much out the window so I went for Glasgow.

You're right down south aren't you Lottie? In which case I might even be closer to Newcastle than you.

If this did happen then it'd depend on where and when. No offence to anyone, but I wouldn't take time off work especially for it. I need money too much for that nonsense.

But for anyone in the south - which is the most important part of the country - if you go to Birmingham by train you have to go to London first. So London makes far more sense.

I see London's way out in front, which I thought would be the case.
