Florence and the Machine - Shake it Out.

In my opinion, apart from Adele, and Ollie Murs, and Noah & the Whale ( sorry Ben) this is the best song for stopping you feeling depressed.

I beg to differ. If you like anything Maroon 5 have ever touched, then you are boring.

That would be a relatively small proportion. Adam Levine is pretty boring though, never used his voice to it's fullest.

He's fit though, so that makes up for it.

Can someone tell me what Tim's picked please?

There were LOADS of songs I really liked last year but the one that I was humming this morning is With Ur Love by Cher Lloyd. So that's my choice.

Well we know he likes whales, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he likes Noah's too

Christ, I forgot how much shit music filled the airwaves in 2011. I fear rock music may truly be dying :(

My choice is Cage the Elephant - Aberdeen

Sad video :(

Don't know if this will count now but I heard it first back in late 2011 although I don't think it hit the charts until this year but I will put it down anyway since I quite like the song and didn't even know who did it until recently, which is surprising considering how much I am not a fan of most of his work but love this and Without You also.

David Guetta - Titanium

Unless you heard it played 3 times a night at work because it was always * on, then it would make you feel depressed. :P

Metallica - Iced Honey. I'll be honest, this is an absolutely rank rotten, disgrace of a song. I just think people should hear how bad Metallica have become. They must be disillusioned, self absorbed twats if they actually think this is good. Disgusting!
