Yeah, Metallica aren't everyone's cup of tea, but in their heyday they were amazing, something new. Words just fail me for the stuff they've done with Lou Reed. It's awful. Just awful.

Ah, I remember in the late 80s when this 'thrash metal' was the big new thing...all the cool boys at my school liked it and I was desperate to keep up. I started listening to Metallica and Anthrax, but Slayer were a bit much for me at the time. So far Motley Crue and Poison had been the height of heaviness for me

Been a fan of Metallica for a long time, but from the 20 secs I heard just there, it sounds like they've turned into Nickleback
