Unless you're in the medical profession. Or the world's oldest profession.

Define a "cold". I have had colds that are a bit of a sore throat, a bunged up nose and the occasional sneeze. I have also had colds which have caused me to cough my lungs up, made my throat swell until its closed and sets off my gag reflex, causing me to vomit, and rendered me almost blind with the headache caused by the congestion. Now I am aware that the 50% of the population with testicles would be surprised to hear such symptoms described as a cold, but actually, that IS what they are. And I wouldn't go to work in those circumstances.

Ah, now, see, I was clearly defining actions for the 'common cold'. Not Man-Flu. The two are entirely different things.

But that IS a common cold. Its really common, its caused by a cold virus and it ISN'T the flu! If you assume that "a cold" and "the sniffles" are the same thing, then you're probably lucky enough to have never had a bad cold!

int'it. we can't contemplate child-birth, you canny get ya head round man-flu.

Although both incapacitate to a similar degree.

In which case you haven't taken a sick day? Because if you have taken a non-sick day, it's a bit hypocritical to have a go at Dom and Tina even if you assume they aren't really ill.

No, it's not hypocritical because I am not defending myself. Also, I don't particularly care about my job or the people I work with or for. I am not saying Dom and Tina don't care, but that is why I do it anyway.

Tina has another eye ulcer, it was mentioned on Monday, that may be why she couldn't sleep because she has to wake up every hour & have drops in her eyes, perhaps that may be why she was off ill for being tired, I know I would be * if I had to wake up on an hourly basis to do that.

I think if you know it's not meant in malice it's very entertaining, every once in awhile. I must admit Chris and the
team have been slacking on the entertainment value since they came back from the christmas break, or at least to me.
What's happend to the impersonation?

I actually think the show has been great so far this year. There were so many bits I wanted to clip for the vault from last week's shows that it took me most of the weekend to get them all done.

I agree. There have only been a couple of shows that I havent liked. Very little moaning about tiredness and Chris and Dave have seemed very enthusiastic about the show. I've enjoyed it a lot so far this year.

When I read that last night I thought that maybe he meant another word. I've forgotten what that word was now, though.
