Forgot to post about this yesterday. Its now that lovely time of year for me; i'm starting my journey to work in the dark, and arriving at work in the light, thereby being able to enjoy the full day-brightening benefits of a glorious sunrise! (No Badger, not that smutty kind, the actual Sun rise! )

There is nothing I like more than to be in the car, Moyles on, heater set to 21 degrees, with the window open for that fresh morning air. Well, I say fresh, I know there are those that would mock that statement given my journey is 75% M25... Like Bob, DD, Bodger or RB for example. But any how, freshness comparisons aside, it does set me up nicely for the day, watching that sun slowly appear in a 'heavenly satsuma' kind of way...

Thats all.

I have lost count of the number of times I have felt that the glorious sunrise is my reward for having to be up, out and about at stupid o'clock. I'm astonished how many people simply never notice the sky, it can often be the most incredible thing at any time of day..

Sometimes - but make a point of looking frequently, you'll be surprised at the variation. I agree a dull grey overcast sky is dreary but a grey and black stormy sky, or a sky which is just clearing after a storm, or even just a rain shower can often be stunning.

I did say I meant to post this yesterday - which was a lovely rise. Yes, today was grey and cloudy, soz.

I LOVE looking up at the sky, particularly sunrises and sets and the night sky on a clear night is just incredible... amazing. I'd love a telescope at some point.

I'm looking forward to the slightly warmer weather. I don't like it when it's absolutely baking hot, just warm enough for a t-shirt.

Does say suitable for over 8's, so you should be able to figure it out. :)

Ha thanks... I mean a decent one to see things like the Andromeda galaxy, for example.

Ah... The £50 one they did probably won't hit the spot either then.

Add one to the wedding list.

And BOOM! There I am, I got my reward for the thread!

Although for me, West Side of London it was nowt but thick cloud, on the horizon I could see a could free band. So, for a brief 5 mins or so as the sun passed through that 'window' I was treated to a beautiful rise as the sun lit the underside of the clouds i was under in a golden glow.

Jeffing magic. Set me up a treat for my last day 'daarn saarf'...

You get some lovely sunrises & sunsets this time of the year, it's great to see it over the City Of London & Canary Wharf skyline, shame I live too far East to view them against those skylines often.

Ever so slightly on-topic, but the last few evenings, you've been able to see both Venus and Jupiter near the moon - incredible. On Saturday night it was clear as anything.

They appeared close to the moon because of their position in relation to ours.

One last time Dougal. These cows here are small... but the ones out there are far away. Small... far away.
