at least you didnt have to rip your wallpaper during the show which i had to do. My mother says that my wallpaper is looking dull and has told me to paint it. i have picked a strange blue to paint. but then again im 21 and its 4 years since i had a half term holiday experience

my mother has poor taste and decided to paint the sitting room two shades of purple. problem is it turned out more like bad skin pink and mulberry wine colour and it was stinking but she was a stubborn bugger and only after a week did she finally admit that i was right and that it looked stinking looking.

i painted my room so 2 walls are bright pink and the other 2 are like a turquoisey colour :D pink sparkly things are the bestest, closely followed by pink fluffy things.

TRashes HOme decoration tips-

painted cream walls with some sort of border to break the room up looks good. A crackling Terra cotta border which is uneven a breaks at different heights produces a radiant atomsphere for winter barbeques and summer parties.

frankly it's all about texturing with sponges. really it is!

yeah but sponges takes too long. id like one of them machine where you take all the furniture out and cover the window, carpet and door and this spray thing covers the room in the colour meaning less hassle.

I have half of my bedroom decorated at the moment and half not,so it looks a bit odd.

Well I'm sure when I move house, I'll have to go and decorate my room as well. Which should be fun! 8)

I remember half-terms as well, now I'm at uni. I only get a mere 13 weeks off during summer. It's a hard life!

I have "reading weeks" Their ace- and everyone should have one. Misguided individuals actually do work in this period.....

The only time I get a reading week is the week before my main exam period starts, so you have little choice but to use it for revision.

Kinda depends on what subject you do I suppose. English students tend to get a reading week mid-term. Lucky people!
