I like the way the 10 Comms refer to bondage on the first line, and yet S&M gear is somehow seen by society as 'unacceptable'.

Not from me. Contrary to some opinions, I am not God.

Tim, that was * abysmal.

Could've went with The Bas -
No but you are a goddess.

The Stinton -
Bet you've got an 'almighty' pair of boobs.

The DD -
If you show me your holiness it might help me with my omnipotence.

The Badger -

Any of these would have been acceptable, although 'the Bas' is obviously my favourite.

I was just updating my CMQN page (which is woefully neglected) and realised none of it is available on 4OD :S

Just discovered if you watch ITV player on Chrome with AdBlock running, there aren't any ads. I knew the plug in would stop pop ups and that, but I'm rather chuffed that it blocks those ads too. Now it runs like a dream.

Just adding more fuel to the 4od is poop argument. I had to iron my work shirts last night. Estimated timescale 20-25 mins. Perfect to watch an episode of something. Load up beeb iPlayer - seen all I want to watch already. Off to 4od. Brill, here is something I want to watch...

So, after 4 attempts at getting the right page to load, I finally managed to start the programme playing. I start ironing. By the time I finish ironing (took 22 mins so my guess was good) 4od has managed to play the opening credits for my chosen show and about the first 8 seconds, all interupted with much, much buffering.

Now, I have a very fast 16-18Mb tinterweb connection, and to prove a point, once finihsed ironing, I went back to Beeb iPlayer; sure enough, straight in, prog on, no buffering, no waiting, no re-loading the page. Sure, I had to re-watch something I'd already seen, but even knowing what joke is coming up is less irritating than trying to use 4od.

Less than 1 minute of a show in 20+ mins view time. Shocking, truly shocking. Have a word with yourselves 4od.

Have you tried the 4OD app on the Xbox? It's quite good.

I tend to do my 4OD watching through Youtube as it's more reliable.

None of those Xbox apps work for me through my Uni connection. I presume it's something to do with the proxy settings in place on our network. :(

And my Iplayer app on there has never worked even when I went home.

Never been hugely into gaming... loved Sonic and now love Mario, I'm aware they're not serious games though. Just not into Call of Duty, Halo type of games.

The F1 games are quite good on the 360/PS3, if you've got the patience to become good at them. The graphics are of a ridiculous quality.

I completed Forza 4 on almost the hardest difficulty. Never played any of the recent F1 games so not sure how different they are.

I would like to give them a go, but to buy a console for one game is ridiculous.

Well, the console is the start, ideally for what Andy is suggesting you'd really need a wheel & wheel stand too, which adds another £200...

But, the new F1 games, with a 'force feedback' wheel, are ruddy good.

I never leave home without my PS3 and a HD TV*.

I bought my Xbox in 2006 and have only ever consistently played the FIFA series on it. I think I get my money's worth given that the investment of £840 (including a new game every year, and Xbox live subscription and a console upgrade) has provided me (and my friends) with 6 years of entertainment. Works out about £11.70 per month.

But yes, to buy a console to TRY a game would be silly.
