I haven't had a TV for 6 months now, went to visit my Mum's for the weekend and saw a trailer for this. I thought I was having a really bad acid flashback. Had to come on here and check it out.

Jesus. 6 months without tv! How was life as hermit? Or a leper? If it was the latter I apologise. Leprosy kids, don't do it :-?

I know loads of people who don't have a telly. I don't watch much, but I would really miss it if I didn't have it I think. Although I am often tempted to try - Mr Yudster would never agree to it though. Fair enough.

Sky Living is the old UK Living or Living TV. Sky 3 became Pick TV.

I don't think I know anyone who doesn't have one. I think younger people would consider anyone without one weird - I'm not saying that's right, but I think that's how it's perceived.

Not having a TV is very different to not watching TV.

I have 2 big TVs in my flat (one in the lounge, one in the bedroom) and rarely watch live TV apart from Saturday/Sunday mornings (apart from Football which is watched 2-3 times a week).

However I play films/shows on my laptop which I download, on both of my TVs a lot and see that as the same as 'having a TV'. Even if I just watched it on my laptop I'd equate it to 'having a TV)

Most of us don't have a TV, we use our laptop.

Coming from a younger person.

Oh, do you? I hate watching TV on my laptop. Our server is wired straight into the TV via two modded xboxes so we can watch anything we've downloaded on one of our TV sets.

As far as live TV goes, I'll watch football and E4's constant rehashing of Big Bang Theory/Scrubs/How I Met Your Mother. Bar that, I use my Xbox for most other things. Between Netflix, 4OD and now the BBC iPlayer there's more than enough on there.

I've noticed that Chris barely mentions the show, even on twitter.Do you think he's having 2nd thoughts about doing it?

I think it's going to quietly disappear. I haven't seen anything since but I read somewhere it got approx. 165k viewers for the first episode which was 50k less than what was shown in the same slot the week before (2 episodes of Nothing To Declare UK).

If that's right then unless it's improved dramatically I can't see why they'd recommission it.

I have to confess I've only seen the first one.I have the following 2 on tape but haven't got round to watching them yet.I think it's more of a training ground for Chris and Stacy to improve their tv presenting skills than anything. It was never likely to get a massive audience on Sky Living lets face it!

true but to fail to beat some cheap fly on the wall doc is a bit of a disaster considering the amount of promotion it got.

If we had a TV we would need a TV license and no one wants to pay for it. But we do plug in laptops to the TV if we're feeling spicy.

Haha, that's fair enough. I guess we're old and boring enough to have just given in and bought a license!

Really? Surely if you just have a TV that's not connected to any kind of aerial and you just use it for...say playing games you wouldn't need a licence. You're not receiving any kind of live broadcast content.

Its not us you have to convince though. Try that one in court & see where it gets you.
