I'm sure it's been done before, but not for a while, so let's have a good old debate on films. Anchorman is absolutely nowhere near the top of my list in any way, shape or form.

In no particular order:

  • Usual Suspects
  • The Godfather
  • Shawshank (yes it's a cliché but that doesn't mean it's not absolutely brilliant - and it is)
  • The Green Mile
  • The Empire Strikes Back
  • The Dark Knight
  • Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café (honestly - watch it. Cat got me into that one)
  • Juno (controversial, but I love it. Mine and Cat's 'our film')
  • Flight of the Navigator (favourite film as a kid)
  • Good Will Hunting

Yours?

Zoot's just reminded me that Full Metal Jacket should be in there and also I do love a lot of the ones on Cat's list (Erin Brokovich, The Time Traveller's Wife, The Notebook, etc.)

Hmm. Off the top of my head:

Trainspotting
Easy Rider
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Almost Famous
The Doors
The Notorious Bettie Page
Wayne's World - possibly my favourite film of all time!

I don't like romcoms or chick flicks - with the exception of a few 50s/60s classics. I like rock n' roll movies and comedies mostly.

No, having almost exclusively Harry Potter films in your favourite films list does... but that's not the only thing that makes you a loser that needs to get a life. :P

Hang on. I have only started moaning recently to join in with all the rest of the moaning going on on this site. My posts are usually fairly upbeat.

I can't tell the difference between your moany and your upbeat these days, they merge into the mediocre together.
