like I say, everyone has likes and dislikes, its the same with features, playlist, team, other R1 DJ's. Trying to spread silly rumours like "Are they being sidelined", is stupid.
I agree the sweep stake went on too long for a feature of my liking. Not everyone cares about football!

I don't think DB sould be restricted in what he says on here, but I do think its quite sad what he does come here to say. You don't like DV, we get it. Why come on here and say it over and over?!! Many of us use this forum daily, some of us even know each other outside of the forum (FFS, one forum member even got another one PREGNANT!), but DB doesn't. He doesn't share info about himself, or views on any other subject - just slag DV every few weeks, then gone again.

I like DaveBedford, his opinion of Comedy Dave and the manner of his posts will irk most on here but as has been mentioned about various members of this forum -
If you can't be arsed with his posts, pop him on your foes list.
If Mr Vitty has issue with his posts (if he even bothers to look at this site nowadays) then he can take that issue up directly with the OP.

Sure, add up all the prizes the payout equals more than the cash brought in, with one major exception.... 16 teams in competition, 15 in Daves sweepstake.

He has kept Spain out of the draw banking on them reaching the final at a minimum, if not, win it - hence saving Dave either the £15 or £9 payout.

Some would call that not playing fair - but thats the whole point in Dave doing it.

Again for the amount of times this Joke has been brought up from the well it either makes Dave quite thick and unwilling to improve on his mistakes (I believe he is smarter or that,) or it's deliberate.

I fear I may have not explained myself well enough. The biggest problem I have with the sweepstakes is the rest of the team. Dave tips it in his favour, makes a profit or is poorly organised and the team act surprised EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! I, you know, Dave knows, Dom knows, Tina knows, Aled knows, Chris knows and we all bloody well know where it is going yet the team are hollering, shouting and going along with it which leaves me to one of two conclusions either the team are acting stupid (,which is one of my biggest pet peeves and probably why I hate it so much) or they are being genuine which is a scary thought.

Or, we all just accept that not every second of every show is aimed specifically at us and our own tastes...

I thought the sweepstakes last week was the highlight of the Friday show and made the Friday show entertaining, which I can't say happens for the most part. The opening link today though was pretty good but after that, it went back to its usual plugging the torch relay/olympic stuff to hell and back!

Ha ha! Al mentioned this thread this morning (opening link) and this has made me appreciate Daves sweepstake even more this time!

As already pointed out, the team are wise to his games - so it would seem DV has buckled under pressure and ended up shelling out all the Euro teams - going to Cotton and producer Stu, hence messing up Daves masterplan!

Although, he may well have brought in extra £ that way, so may still make profit, we'll see.
