I dont know why the reason is, but Id rather listen to swedish house gangsters ( ;) )or whoever than a rubbish music bed.

Completely disagree. I love the gap between the end of the cheesy song and the first word - the suspense of how many iterations of the music will play before someone chips in, who chips in first, and what the first phrase will be - hilarious when it is something like "We are here" or some incomprehensible comment that relates to an off air conversation. Keep it going Aled!

Also, have been a regular listener for just over a month and absolutely loving tCMS! Can't get enough of it. Sad I've missed 8 years though.

I'm 26 so within the target group. Please keep Roy Walker and the Pub Quiz as these are my favourite features - plus would be great to have CPC back.

I'm sorry to say your best friend is keeping secrets from you. This is the updated thread, the version you put up is no longer being updated.

Should have put up both links up since I know that one but it doesn't get updated regularly though hence I put that one up even though it will be harder to find stuff but that's what the search bar is there for! ;)

well you would be wrong then.

joking :) i dont like the cheesy song, either, I think its a way of wasting time on the show. i know i might get caps locked at for saying that but you know, not fussed. each the their own. I've been listening for two years more or less now, and i go and make bacon and cups of tea during the cheesy song. meh.
anyway, this isnt really about personal likes and dislikes, its about being nosey and asking Aled questions. aha :)

Dear Aled

I personally like the extra song before 7, as I now have time to shower without missing the end of the first link!

In other thoughts have you ever considered playing more metal on the show? This is a very popular genre of music that is massively under-represented on the station as whole and particularly on your show. I understand it may not be to your personal taste, but if countless Jack Johnson soundalikes can get on then surely there is space.(Yes I mean you Sheeran  )

Lol indeed (and text speak isn't even allowed here). I've been a metal fan for almost 25yrs and I wouldn't expect or want to hear metal on the show. It isn't the right time or place. Except of course for the odd occasion when Dave would choose GNR or Def Leppard for the Tedious.

To be fair, if you take the lol you planed on typing and add some :'s both before and after it, as if by magic, it'll turn itself into one of these .

Clever, innit.

Use your colon correctly and you can lol to your hearts content*.

I know. Hey, I didn't make the rules that allow smilies but not text-speak :)

That'll be a yes then! Let me guess - you won £175,000.

#Columbo

I prefer to be referred to as Columbo then to someone like Chris James

Isn't it already covered to some extent on Radio 1 in the form of the rock show? Or are they different enough that it doesn't work like that?
