Aye, a wee bit depressing indeed. I'm just hoping Chris doesn't step away from radio completely and does the odd show here or there and then maybe comes back with a regular show once his stint with JCS is done.

I'm always recording the shows as i listen to my own copy a day or so behind. But i'm sure Ian will have it covered before I even get home from work and have it edited and uploaded

We record all the shows - there's no reason why the last one would be any different! I'll make sure it goes in the sound vault as well as being uploaded to IA.

Also, somebody else needs to update the sound vault because no offence to Johnny but it's been nearly 5 months since it got updated and would be easier for some people to get the shows there rather than having to skim through the pages here!

When did he start working with Chris? I know it was on the afternoon show but when abouts?

He said on an 'Ask Aled' post on here that he has a copy of every Chris Moyles Show he's worked on, and that he would hand over the tapes when he finished on Radio 1. Though I think he may have been joking.

I think he's been on the show since around 2000-2001, though I'm sure someone else on here can be more precise than that. I know that under the guise of 'BB Aled', he commented on Big Brother series 2 in 2001, but I don't think he did a similar role for Big Brother series 1.

Programme archiving was down to the programme teams of the time until about 3 years ago when all programmes were stored automatically.

I don't know where we stand with me handing over tapes of the show. Maybe when the day comes and the show ends and we need a home for them I'll sneak them out under my jacket and send them to you

Don't know if it anyone has uploaded the All Day Breakfast shows from the 1st January 2010 on archive already but stupid me accidentally deleted them while I was getting rid of the unedited shows I had from 2010 (just going to download the edited shows since I rather have them to be honest). Out of curiosity, Are the 2008 edits O.K.? I know there not up to the standard of ianpwilliams or bmstinton93 but are they good. I'm slightly worried that they are not up to scratch (Part ego, part genuine curisoty asking).

P.s: It's a sad time when I start putting last ever.. instead of just the day or guest or place name. I'm really not looking forward to putting last ever Breakfast show in my library of shows. And a year from now I'll have to put "Last ever Radio 1 show" on it.
