Thought this may be the best place to ask this:

How do you make a clip into your message or ringtone on iPhone? Does it have to be downloaded from the site like when they did Mollie from the Saturday's and put it up as a message tone?

Covert to .m4a and then change the .m4a to .mr4 then put it on your iPhone and it will just work. The clip has to be under 30 seconds though.

Convert to .m4a ? In English please! Literally change the end of the file name?

iTunes will do it for you. Go to preferences and make sure the converting output is .m4a rather than mp3 and then just right click the file in iTunes and convert.
