P.S : Apologies if it has been mentioned on his show lately, I stopped listening for 5 months after being a die hard fan for quite a while (just got busy doing other things as I would listen again rather than live), but Chris leaving reminded me of the show again. Hope he gets the 10 to midnight slot with the gang.

Something happened from Longman's side which meant he stopped speaking to the team. Chris said he doesn't have a problem with him though, he said on the show I'd guess about a year ago.

Interesting - I remember Longman well and wondered for ages why (1) he suddenly disappeared and (2) nobody on the show seemed to mention it.
I haven't missed him as such though - he was amusing but he also seemed like an idiot, and my amusement basically came from his reaction when Chris was winding him up.

Ah bless Ryan, you were too young to be listening back then! He was a mate of Chris' who ran a sandwich shop in Leeds and used to be on the show pretty regularly. They had jingles made for him and everything.

Was he an old friend of Chris'? He used to run a sandwich shop (in the Leeds area), and they would ring him everyweek.

There's an urban myth that something happened with him and Carrie (Chris still implies that Carrie's baby is Longmans ).

I always remember it being worse than that lol, I seem to remember giving him a piece of mind myself at one point but am starting to think it was the amount of weed I used to smoke back then that has clouded my memory lol
