Hear'Say wont be at the Brits leading me to believe they havent won anything and in the minds of people who like music, a warranted move by the Brits committee. They plan to release a new single in April followed 2 weeks later with wait for it, ANOTHER BLOODY ALBUM. In the space of 12 months they will have released 3 albums. No doubt there will be another unwanted remix of Pure & Simple on it again. Elsewhere Kym has signed a solo deal. A stupid company paid a 6 figure number to get her and im frankly surprised. If she cant hack being in a band for 11 months, God help it when she wants out of this contract too.
The Backlash against Will Young will happen sooner rather than later. 2 days before his "Evergreen" is released, he has got a one hour Special with guests. Now come on, over 4 million people voted on the night for him, you'd think that alone would get him to number 1. Its just the song aint strong enough. When you hear the words "Westlife album track", it doesnt bode well, we all know how tedious, boring and soppy their first choice number 1's are like. So this push is like one of them paid adverts in a paper designed for television. His album is also being rushed out choc-a-block with all the forgetful covers he did, before the attention span of a goldfish viewers forget who he is. The record companies treat the buyers like fools, and in a way they are correct.
