Oh, and edited to add, I'll be cracking on with updating the archive this afternoon.

Here ya go, babydoll! 2012-05-19_The_Chris_Moyles_Show_-_Chris_and_Fearne_Cotton_Live_in_Torbay_b01hn7dv_default.m4a

Bear in mind this is a 3 hour Saturday show with Chris and Fearnage in Torbay(age).

I'm kind of halfway through updating the archive, but I'm stopping for now as I've only moved from the PC to shower and eat today. Will finish it tomorrow. Thank God I booked next week off work.

Scan or eBuyer if you want cheap.
2TB: £79
3TB: £115
4TB: £175

So I'm guessing so far that the "Quality Nuts" will be:

neilt0
ianpwilliams
bmstinton93
slaphead1982

And it would make sense that one of the "Quality Nuts" was also "The Archivist", because that's one less person to send the files to. I probably can't afford more than a 2TB hard drive though, which may not be big enough. So that may have to make me a "Quality Nut".

I'm not tech savvy enough to be the "Archivist" so I'm just putting myself forward as a "Quality nut".

I'm definitely a "quality nut" lol, but I wouldn't mind being an Archivist if all else fails, I have ridiculous amounts of online storage and bandwidth at my disposal, and a pretty hefty upload speed (~8mbit).

I've got a 2TB drive and I have about 4 500GB hard drives on my desk at work as I type this that are doing nothing other than taking up space!

Before it becomes a free-for-all, I think the idea is that the Quality Nuts will be a select few, and will be editing shows, and will be regulars, as there will be transferring of hard drives in the post. Not that I'm eliminating anyone or anything.

Whoever does what though, it's good to know you have so much hard drive space and online space and bandwidth James. Mine is limited (all three).

But Aled still hasn't replied anyway, so this may all be moot...

Agreed Ian. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes with it or anything (I understand that although I've been registered here a long time my post count doesn't make me quite as 'regular' - and you guys have been clipping and uploading show archives for yonks!), but if you need any of my 'services', they're there :)

The joys of working in IT/Web design!

Web design is a soar subject around the more established members (I mean the cre-a-tor) of this site. :)

I remember the marathon show "redesign". That's all I'll say on the subject :)

Thanks, that's good to know James :)

I'd love to work in IT again...

We should all bear in mind that Aled may be in a position where he can't help out with this stuff til after the last show - so this could be months away yet. Also having had his brand new car vandalized this morning, he probably has other things on his mind!

Nice of DepositFiles to make me wait 20 SECONDS before showing me that message!

I know I am not a regular or anything, but if there is anything else that people can do to help out. Just let me know, would really like to get my hands on a set of unedited shows, but wouldn't dream of taking them without helping out in some way first!

I totally get what you are saying about it being a free for all potentially and that is obviously best avoided, so i'll pipe down on the subject. But if (and its a big if as you say) it does come off, i'd be willing to pitch in and help in any way I can.

Bugger. Oh well, I can remove the link from the archive altogether then! A shame, that's an old show we seem to have had at one time and lost. Ah well, thanks for trying :)

Thankyou! The archive is still a work in progress by the way, just in case anyone looks at it and notices a lot of stuff missing...I can see why johnny is often reluctant to update it, it's extremely faffy and time consuming.
