Wow, this archive is truly impressive! I would just like to send a quick thanks to you all for taking the time to edit and upload these shows for us all to enjoy. They are very much appreciated. Thank You. Also my computer pretty much died on me recently and i lost a shout out i had from Chris a few years back, does anyone have a full or unedited version of 24th august 2009? I have listened to the one posted on here but it was over the end of a record so it was edited out. Many thanks if anyone out there can help!

I'm trying to work out how to work out which breakfast shows we don't have in the archive. We know the start date, and if we can get a list of the bank holidays throughout the year, then we can have an initial list from that. Although of course, the bank holidays will have changed between 2004 and 2012, and I'm pretty sure there was a time when they used to work bank holidays. And then there would be their general holidays to take into account.

I'm also wondering if the team might have a list of the shows that they have done, which would make life a lot easier.

Thanks for that. If I can work out when they got "bank holidays off" added to their contracts, then that just leaves holidays that they had.

Of course, it may that Aled has a list of all the show dates, being as organized as he seems to be. Best wait til he gets back from holiday though.

When I was doing my show master list earlier in the year, these were the total numbers I came up with. I think I'm right in thinking that this is Breakfast shows with Chris, not including team shows with Vernon and the odd day he had off. The first line is 2004 and the final line is 2012 including the planned shows they have left. I'm sure that list is 99% right at least, of course with going through 1850+ shows, there might be a mistake or two. This list can be cross referenced with the show + tedious link reviews on this site, the old running order archive on the official site, and the archived bbc.co.uk/programmes website which goes back to 2009 I think. All in all, when the show finishes, as long as he doesn't have any more time off, Chris will have done 1865 breakfast shows, and most of the team will have been involved in 1900 shows. I think. I need to finish the list off and double check it all before they get back really.

This was the 2nd part of the list explaining any shows where Chris wasn't in, and any extra shows he did. This does need extra work on it but, again, I'm pretty confident it's 95% right at least, especially up until 2012.

This could be really useful.

What I'm hoping for is at some point to be able to compare my archive list with a list of all the shows. I've got an Excel document which lists all the shows I have (which is the whole archive), so if I can manage to make a list of the dates on which there was a Moyles Breakfast show (which would be all the normal shows, any extra shows, and all shows where someone like Sara Cox or Vernon Kay stood in for Moyles), then I could compare the two, and work out exactly which shows we were missing.

You should be able to get that from the lists above. On the 2nd list, where the number is in bold means that the team were there, but Chris wasn't. All other ones numbered means Chris was there for the show, or at least for 50% of the total show.

Working on a month by month basis, most of them are easy to confirm as if there are 22 weekdays in a month, and you have 22 shows from that month, then you know you have everything. It's only when you have to work out absences, and covers and holidays that it can get a bit tricky.

Well excluding my 2009 shows (most of which are incomplete), I have 1565, so that leaves 300 shows. Or 335 if it was more like 1900.
