Don't think I will.

Actually it would all depend on how the show is. If Chris cries (which I doubt) then I won't be able to stop myself. I'll be doing my best to not as my kids will be in and I don't want them to see me upset.

I won't, I never cry about anything. And anyway, I'm not as attached to the show as some people are, I only listened occasionally but listen to the free download every week.

It will be strange, though, not being able to put on the radio in the morning and hear Chris, Dave, Aled and the rest of them. No more of my Sunday night tradition of listening to the podcast while playing FIFA.

They should have took each week at a time, and maybe had 3 old features back all week. For example, this week they could have had Where am I, Yesterdays Weather and Celebrity Tarzan, last week could have been One Road Travel, Sting Ring and Tedious Link. Doing just one of each feature just seems a bit bizzare to me, you're hardly able to enjoy it before it has ended, again.

And the same could have been done with the likes of Carrie, she should have been back for at least a whole show, maybe a week. Yes I know you could say "well they have a life too...", but you could guarantee anyone would be willing to come back. It all just feels a bit rushed to me. It could have been so much better IMO.

That's a bit harsh. I'm sure Aled and the rest of the team have worked very hard to strike the right balance of looking back at old features and team members while still keeping the show fresh, for want of a better word. I don't think there should be too much focus on the past, but that's just my opinion.

I can't criticise anything about these recent shows. Even if it is stuff I'd normally have a go at, I just haven't the heart to do it at this time. It's all great, and it'll soon all be gone.

I'm sure I will. I'm very emotional and cry about all sorts of things. I've already cried twice about the show ending! I used to be embarrassed to admit that I'm a crier cos it can be read as a sign of weakness, but now I don't care.

On the subject of the final shows, I hardly think Carrie could have come back for a week when she's due to have her baby any day now :)

If there were three months left, sure - but with three weeks you've got to do things differently. I expect as it all draws to a close next week things will shift in tone building to the huge live celebration on the Thursday and then a lot of reflection on the last show.

Yes, these last shows could have been "better", but I am very much enjoying them. I think if you have any insight of how tough it it to put these shows together and that the production team had very little time to prepare them, I think you'd cut them a bit more slack.

Just the booking of the guests, "friends of the show" and former team members must be very time consuming let alone everything else.

I'm sure other producers would have told us all to * off by now. Aled has the patience of a saint.

The last shows have been great. The Chris Moyles show is ending but still has to fit in features around playlist/news etc. Aled and the production team have done a fantastic job.

I agree with that pretty much word for word. I dont think the unfortunate timing of the fortnight break helped, but I think it is going well enough so far.

It would probably be better to reserve judgement until the end anyway.

It was ment as constructive critisism, didn't mean to come across all harsh. Suppose I cant really comment too much as I haven't heard a whole show since they come back, but I will tomorrow - which will be the last CMS show ever, for me. I'm off on holiday on Thursday, so 1 show left for me.

I got a bit sad this morning, listening in bed and on my way to work for the very last time :(

I've really enjoyed the last shows - I'm sure most people (Chris included) would've preferred a massive song and dance each day for the final 14 shows but the simplicity of just looking back with old show members, features and friends makes an easy and lovely listen. :)

I'm enjoying these last shows, there seems to be more energy, and a bollocks to BBC guidelines attitude.

Bringing back the old team members, I particularly enjoyed Carrie, is a bit like This Is Your Life.

I don't want the last ever show to be here, but on the other hand am looking forward to it as I reckon it will be a cracker.

Was listening to the show this morning and thought I heard Kelly Jones congratulate Chris or Dave on something and then they moved on quite quickly. Now possibly I did'nt catch this right and Kelly was just congratulating Chris on Jesus Christ Superstar or maybe there's something top secret (clutching at straws here). Also see Dom tweeted that next week he's filming his last odd box, does this mean he's leaving the BBC completly or am I reading too much into things.

I think that seems likely he is freelance and it is a Newsbeat thing...

...so I'm guessing that it will be another Newsbeat presenter taking over, are they having regular news/sport readers on Grimmy's new show?

No it was the other way round wasn't it? Zane Lowe brought up something to congratulate Kelly on - Chris seemed to know what it was but it was never said on air.

Never thought if say this but I enjoyed hearing from Longman.
Chris sounded abit awkward at first but he genuinely seemed pleased to be talking to Longman again.

If it hasn't been said enough already, im really gutted the show is ending. Moyles and the team have really upped their game these last few weeks.

There was a certain down to earth (even though he's off living a ridiculous lifestyle!) charm about him, that the show has missed for a while. More entertaining than a caller, but less pompous than a celeb.
