I see they are uploading the special edition podcasts that were mentioned on the forum. I'm guessing they will go through to 2012, which will probably be next Thursday if it's one a day?

And can someone confirm that it is the last two shows that are going to be live on the red button, next Thursday and Friday? I'm definitely getting up early to watch those. Can't wait to see "the book" being handed over. Is anyone going to record the video streams and upload them? Obviously I will upload edited and unedited audio versions.

I bet this forum will get busy at 10am on Friday 14th September.

I am currently doing this, but bear in mind that they are large files and this will take days/weeks/months. Please be patient.

That's the original file, so that's what I recommend. archive.org recodes everything to offer alternative formats, but in this case, those files end up larger.

I have other video file sets ready to upload, but the file size is larger and archive.org choked on the files when I uploaded them overnight, so I'm going to have to find another solution later today or tomorrow.

obviously not for resale, but more of a souvenir to listen back again to remind myself of what good radio is all about...

Merged. I wish people would read just a little bit before they duplicate stuff.

Man the archive is slowing filling up over the past few months and we pretty much have every show from 04, 05, 08, 10, 11 & 12 now! Will be a while yet before I get to where I started listening to the show, which was 17th July 2009 (currently on 24th May 2005) but god bless you guys for having the older shows and for taking the time out of your day to edit and uploading them for people like myself that never got to experience them first time around.

I assume the final two streams will be recorded since I will miss a chunk of them since I will be at work when they start but I am going to listen to the full final show live and bid adieu to a classic radio show!

Well that does surprise me. Is this from the Real Audio iPlayer files? Don't know what to say really, give me a couple of examples so I and others who might have archived can check their copies.

They are from the ra files.
2008-11-13: It cuts out to mute in sections then kicks in again a fair way into it. The same goes for:

2008-08-19: Carpark catchphrase is missing from the end of the show.
