There's maybe not enough time now, but it would have been good if the listeners were allowed to choose a song on the last Golden Hour.

They could have had a shortlist of ten or so, and got people to vote on the Facebook page or the Radio 1 Online website.

But I think having votes is now against the laws of the Big British Castle after they "got caught with their hand in the till", as Danny Baker says.

Not sure about that. I wouldn't want a lot of music, but maybe it would be a good idea if the team were allowed to ignore playlist for one show and pick their own songs? It would be good if they picked songs that remind them of certain moments over the years, or songs that sum up their feelings on the final day etc.

It's a show on a music station, there has to be music on it. Anyway, I doubt even Chris and the team could talk non stop for three and a half hours.

I've thought of a suggestion. Maybe not for the final show but I hope it can be fitted in somewhere as I have literally just remembered it for some odd reason. Does anyone remember when Chris used the BBC internal phone system and they used to say different names? I'd love to hear that happen again!

They should have the cheesy song performed in the live lounge, and all jingles sung live I think. And the music should be chosen by the team (as in not from playlists).
