I know this thread is about the Chris Moyles Show yet since Dom is a part of it I wanted to mention that I watched last week's Odd Box and Dom said this week will be the last Odd Box. I had thought he would continue doing the Odd Box. It looks like all of his BBC work is coming to an end.

Don't know if people already knew but he just tweeted he is leaving Radio 1 tomorrow. Maybe they all aren't going to do another show on Radio 1 after all

it's not 'common knowledge' but I feel it is what everyone thought... This last few days has seemed to confirm Chris is leaving Radio 1 completely.

As I just posted on another thread; Chris mentioned on air this morning that he had cleared his desk out yesterday, and then Dom has posted that tweet.

I would think, given he is a family man etc he must have something else lined up; he seems to do a bit of voiceover work so maybe he is going to bump that up.

Maybe all will be revealed tomorrow in what they will be getting up to; hard when it seems that the rules dictate they can't promote outside interests......

Just read Dom's tweet and was a bit surprised to see he's leaving the beeb comletely. Almost like they've said, well if you're not doing radio, may as well stop the rest to. Thanks very much, theirs the door. Feel for him, but more than certain he'll land on his feet ok.

No biggie if you dont hear them all on radio 1 again or any other bbc radio for that fact. Many many many other ways that they can deliver to everyone out there. IMO, id love to hear the odd podcast with them all every now and then. They can say what they want, do what they want. Be a hoot.

Chris's desk is his desk in relation to the Breakfast Show. Whilst it would seem evident that he isn't going to be presenting a regular show on Radio 1 for the moment, to extrapolate clearing out his Breakfast Show desk into "he is leaving BBC Radio completely" seems premature, especially as he has a very well publicised contract with them which has some time left to run - yes I know that doesn't mean he will definitely broadcast for the BBC again but it does leave the door open for him to do so at some point.

As for Dom - I'm sure he's got plenty of stuff on the go, and he will have a very well paid agent responsible for getting him more. He took the decision a couple of years ago to leave the employment of Newsbeat and go freelance - he would have had his eyes open at that time. He can't possibly be "leaving the Beeb altogther" because he isn't employed by the BBC. He will still be just as likely to do work for the BBC as he always has been.

If tomorrow is their last days; they will be entitled to have their contracts paid up; and given Chris has a contract until 2014, I don't think he will want to jeopardise that pay off that much !!

Aled is employed by the BBC, and when I asked him about 18 months ago why he hadn't gone for an Executive Producer role that was available at the time, he said that he wanted to concentrate on giving TCMS all he could while he could - so I think Aled will be an Executive Producer before very much longer. He is also going to continue presenting The Surgery I believe.

Aled said on 'Ask Aled' recently that after the show, he's taking a sabbatical from producing for three months, but continuing to host the Surgery during that time.

There was a tweet yesterday from unofficial mills saying that there is rumour that one of TCMS team will remain on breakfast.
Hubby and I straight away said Dom or Tina, although I wasn't so sure about Dom, and if he's off too then then I'd say Tina! That is of course if anyone is staying!

I imagine now that Dominic is well known and liked just being a newsreader isn't all that attractive compared with the alternatives. I imagine he will do a lot of voiceover stuff but I really hope that isn't all he does because I think he's probably the funniest person on TCMS. I would love it if he could do radio/ telly stuff of his own. Dom as a telly presenter would just be brilliant but also reckon he would be a pretty decent host/ co-host on Radio 2.

As for Chris, the fact that he's rushed his tour out for this year suggests that he will be busy in the new year. This fits in with my theory that when Sara does maternity cover for Fearne he will get the Sunday 10 till 1 slot.

Although Dave will probably do various slots on 5live I would be suprised if he didn't join Chris on this weekly show.

Totally understandable that Tina is staying on a she is much younger than the other members and is a really good newsreader/ sport girl (I would think she'd be doing both in the future) who they would be fools to axe this soon.

They've already announced ~somewhere~ that there wont be a sports anchor on the new look Radio 1 Breakfast show. So Tina will be reading the news AND the sport. How will she cope with that?

Yeah, Tina in particular is very pretty in the flesh. I loved her outfit this morning too. I think I looked at that very skirt in river island.
