What about the Simon Mayo route - 5 live? I could certainly see him filling in for Danny Baker on a Saturday morning in the short term.

You are a disgrace and I'm looking forward to when someone you respect dies so I can rub your liberal face in it.

I hope that they all re-appear somewhere on the FM dial shortly. If they were to get another Breakfast Show, then we could see if the Radio 1 bigwigs made the right decision.....

Nicola_Red wrote:Well it won't. Chris is contracted to the BBC and we know that Dom is leaving the corporation.

I would envisage you would retain at least 3 million listeners if not more. You would instantly have a top 10 breakfast show on your station.
Admittedly it might cost a bit; but we all have to speculate to accumulate.

I don't think it's so clear cut - Dom is freelance and presumably his current contract has come to an end. There's nothing to say that they BBC wouldn't engage him on a new contract at some point in the future.
