Same here. I wasn't a fan after they implemented the 'nothing older than 1990' rule. Also, kudos for the Sugababes reference.

I can promise you that rule will not be in operation! At least in the second half the team could choose whatever they liked which opened it up to some more random choices.

Yup. For me, it was the constant rotation of the same mid-90s Britpop that did my head in. There have been (literally) 100 million songs released, and we got to hear * Oasis, * Seahorses and whatever other Britpop Wombles Chris and Dave were in to for a very short period during 1994-1996. The same went for Tedious Link.

To be fair, later on, Chris did make a real effort to choose more obscure and less frequently played songs, but they were still limited to (what felt like) 1995-2005 as the "Golden" years.
