The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Herod is easily the best role in the whole (pretty dreary) show - the only bit of comedy relief in the whole thing. Chris looks amazing, and I LOVE that suit.

Thank you. I was struggling to think who he reminded me of.

Thanks for that clip. Definitely looks like he is having fun. He also looks a bit orange but I think he mentioned that during this show he would be having a spray tan

Maybe im looking into this too much but
in the interview he said
" I could be at home on my backside looking for a job"
Is that a hint that he has done at Radio 1?

No. He's saying he doesn't have a job after JCS.

No, saying he doesn't currently have a job is not the same thing as saying he won't ever go back to R1.

I think "obviously" is becoming the most wrongly-used word in the English language. On here anyway.

There was a short bit about this on BBC Breakfast this morning with a short interview with Chris. All pre-recorded.

I heard a trail this morning for something later on today on R1 - it might have been for Greg's show, I was half asleep and not paying attention - apparently Ben thingy (is it Ben? Whoever is playing Jesus), Tim Minchin and Mel C are going to be in to talk about it. Again, no Chris? Ok, Herod is a tiny part but it is the standout role (its the only piece of fun in the whole dreary show) and while perhaps I can see the main TV talk shows going for the Big Three to interview, it seems mad to me that a R1 piece on JCS wouldn't feature Moyles.

As a BBC employee I don't think Chris can appear on another BBC show to promote side projects. Conflict of interest.

He's not a BBC employee, he's freelance - that's how he could do the Channel 4 Quiz Night, amongst other things. The fact that people are going on Radio 1 to promote it, there would be no conflict of interest. I also think it's odd he wouldn't be on to promote it - after all, along with Tim Minchin and Mel C, he's one of the biggest names in it.

I don't think it's remotely odd. If I was Chris Moyles I wouldn't want to return to R1 a week after bowing out as the greatest breakfast show presenter of all time to be interviewed by Greg James as part of a foursome.

They'd either have to talk about Chris & R1 (which would detract from JCS and Grimshaw) or they'd have to somehow ignore it (which would be weird)

I know Topher already said it and it shouldn't have needed saying in the first place byut because it did, I am going to repeat it - Chris was and is not a BBC employee.
