He has two sidekicks and pretty much has similar on-air habits such as involving even the most feable of producers/newspresenters. If you listen to a few of the podcasts and anonymous confessional (one of the most amazing features ever on radio), you'll grow to like him.

I can't find a way to download from that, short of recording it live. But I shall continue to look into it.

I've delved right into it, it looks like they've built it very cleverly, even proxying all the requests I can't find the audio stream, my guess is the flash player widget calls to the audio via HTTPS.

I don't want it to beat me though so I'll have a further play about!

The ads might drive you insane, but you'll get more chat than your average commercial station and Hirsty is very wise with his words (with very funny responses from his sidekicks). He's more of a proper broadcaster than most around. Even does a show on Capital Gold with 80s stuff. He knows a thing or two about the music as well.

StreamTransport says it's:

I think that full stop at the end is spurious, so try

rtmpe://cdn-the-2.musicradio.com:80/AOD ... B20108.m4a

as well.
