Moorning! On the way to see Fincham and decide what we are going to talk about everyday at 6.30am for almost 4 hours. I suggest "stuff"

I couldn't help myself tweeting back asking him wasn't it the idea that he doesn't talk and plays the dire playlist music instead.

I was kind, I didn't #teammoyles on it! :D

I'd have replied with "Why don't you consult the experts - #TeamMoyles"

You still could :D

We could expand to do what look like "authentic" #teamgrimmy ones and try and work #teammoyles in somehow - see how many we can get past radio 1? :D

This is one of the responses from a One Direction team/fan account:

@grimmers I'll listen if you talk about "stuff" perhaps a lot of One Direction talk too?

Grimmy wasn't too bad when he appeared on the marathon show. On his own though, it's probably going to be a completely different story. Presenting as a "solo" at that time every weekday will drive him mad eventually. That is his account. Remember when he announced it on-air one time.

Oh my * god..... Radio 1 are asking people to send in photos of themselves with a quiff.

To counter this I'll send in a photo of me under a quilt.

I like him - I follow him on twitter, and whenever he's been on with Moyles I've liked him. I do plan to give his show a chance. That's why I don't want this campaign to get too anti-Grimmy - it's more anti-BBC bosses if anything.

True. Depends if he gets carried away with it all. All the Grimmy campaign stuff is more exec's pushing the producers to waterdown the content on the station. However, I just get the feeling he will be a very lonely breakfast presenter come Christmas. I mean, what young listeners weren't listening when their older siblings/parents were listening to Chris anyway?

I think its clear that anything we are doing here is aimed at the incredibly crass marketing campaign, not Grimshaw himself. I like his voice and am planning to listen to his show too, but the whole #TeamGrimmy thing is such a nasty, underhand ploy I don't think we can let it pass.

I always wanted this #TeamMoyles to be a legitimate and funny parody to show a bit humanity that we do miss him in the mornings. If Grimshaw wants to mention it in a positive context (that may work better in his favour to others onboard), then fair enough. But I am starting to see an ugly side to the #TeamGrimmy campaign as if to say the middle fingers at Moyles.

I am not anti-Grimmy and I'm not particularly anti-radio 1 either. I'll be tweeting #TeamMoyles because I want to support Chris and because I think it would be funny if got trending. And even funnier if it trended higher than Grimmy's one.
