You all seem a bit tetchy today.

I like Scott too but if Moyles is too old, Scott definitely is. Keep him on the afternoon slot and filling in during holidays I say.

Brilliant moment from Becky today during tap end when Scott said 'apparently after 25 you start dying' to which Becky replied something like 'you do according to radio 1!' Suddenly she's gone up in my estimation!

Scott knows he has the same style and sense of humour as chris. He knows that he will be gone when his new contract expires in June or July 2015. (he is contracted to the 1 - 4 slot exclusively) he also knows that he maybe pushed as well.

If you listened to Scott without knowing anything about him you'd think he was in his 20s, not approaching 40. The age of the host does not mean they can't play to a different audience demographic.

Take Vernon Kay - looks young, sounds young, acts young and is actually precisely one month younger than Scott.

Quite. This was Moyles' problem, all the references to things in '80s and '90's. What average 16yr old is going to get them?
