Don't worry, I've read all that nonsense. But refocussing your demographic doesnt mean chopping half of your actual target audience in one swoop by forcing your presenter to lobby one band (where there could be some issues further down the line if they continue with it) and abandon the legacy of the show. It's not even the Radio 1 Exec's have been clever about it to get around the issues.
I appreciate times change, but what's currently broadcasted is not BBC Radio like it should be. I'm not saying Chris should be back. He's done his time and millions have thanked him for that. But what's going on now could equally be suicide if figures drop like a stone. We'll know in 9 - 12 months if that's the case or not.
