The last set of audience figures for the Chris Moyles radio show wil be published after midnight tonight.It wil be interersting to see if there was a surge in figures for the last few weeks and whether it might help chris in his talks with Ben Cooper about getting another show. Will be even more interesting to see how they compare with Grimmys first few weeks ,but sadly we'll have to wait another 3 months to find that out

Chris doesn't need help getting another show. He hosted the biggest show on the station for over 8 years and if he wants another show then he will get one.

Where was the criticism? I responded to what he said about Chris and made a remark about what he'd be doing at midnight. A remark which I imagine is at least 80% truthful. If I wanted to criticise him I'd point out this didn't need its own thread and that the RAJAR's were discussed in another thread recently.

Unfortunately the last set of figures is not as good as I would have expected.I'm afraid the last 3 months of the show averaged 6.73 million listeners and was beaten by the Today show. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2012/oc ... sfeed=true In retrospect maybe it would have been better if Chris had left breakfast a couple of years ago when the audience figures were at their peak..He would have been in a much stronger position to get another show. I'm afraid Ben Cooper is not going to offer him another prime time slot on the basis of these figures
