I think Dave maybe keeping low for a little while; let's face it, he has spent 14 years playing second fiddle to Chris. Even on DOI he was referred to as "Comedy Dave Vitty". He probably feels he needs to shake that tag before he does anything else.

In a public persona way, maybe so - given that a lot of the writing for the show seemed to be his department, I'd have thought it logical that's where his future lies, in the writing / creativity side of things and the odd panel / guest appearance.

Paul Hawksbee (on talkSPORT) writes for TV Burp and other such shows, I'd think it's a decent enough living.

He only wrote for TCMS though. He has no external writing credentials, he wasn't a writer before TCMS and he hasn't been employed as a writer by anyone else. Its what he did on the show, but it isn't what he does, if you see what I mean. I'm not saying that he isn't good at it, just that it will be difficult for him to get employment as a writer with nothing more formal than that on his cv.

And before people start reminding me about his book, if he wants people to think of him as a writer, he would be better off trying to forget that ever happened.

I find Badger links pretty amusing, mainly because I have a childish sense of humour.
Doosies can be avoided by hovering the mouse over them and checking what comes up at the bottom of the screen. (I admit there's been a few times when I've done that but then clicked the link anyway just for lolz.)
