No but the word feisty is based on a 16th century word that included in its range of meanings "dog fart", something i find amusing when a particularly fiesty young lady decsribes her attitude as fiesty..

Annoying me today, another DJ I listen to had his last show today, Jon Holmes on 6 Music, after a 6 year run on Saturday's (in the Afternoons, then drivetime, then late breakfast), apparently he's returning sometime next year but it seems BBC bosses yet again have decided to move him on (like Moyles and Danny Baker)

So that's Holmes, Danny Baker and Moyles all gone in a space of 3 months, three rather distinct broadcasters got rid off for bland generic radio (although luckily in 6 Music's case the rest of their line up is still great).

At first I thought there was a silver lining as Adam Buxton is replacing him, so a good replacement :smile:

, however not with Joe Cornish, no no no

, EDITH * BOWMAN!!! Jesus wept! :evil:

Still one advantage, that's 13 shows a week I don't have to download any more when I finally get my new laptop, my modem will be pleased :razz:
