Hi,

I've been listening to the show since early 2008 and the show has always been an important element of the festive period. The features, the guests, interviews, banter etc was always an excellent way to start the day and get in to the Christmas mood! Now this Christmas, of-course, no show! I've thus decided to listen to one show starting from Dec 1 2011 every day (although I listened to these last year) and / or listen to one show from 2007 December per day (these shows I have never heard before).

Sooo... anyone else doing similar?

I remember putting a suggestion in the Aled thread if it was possible for team to get together and do a few Christmas podcasts but its probably very unlikely.

Yes. The Christmas Shows were all brilliant and it's quite sad we won't get them this year. I think I might download last years Christmas shows and listen to them.

Yes it's a tricky one. I've already started listening to the archive, and I'm currently at Feb 2004, so I'll be completely out of sync at Christmas. It would have been nice to time it somehow so that I was listening to Christmas shows at Christmas, while still listening in order, but that's just not possible. The big plus for me though is that I have "infinite" Moyles to listen to for the first Christmas ever. In previous years I actually made a point of not listening to the "live" (i.e. my pre-edited) shows for a couple of weeks, so I had shows to listen to over Christmas and New Year. Don't need to do that this time though.

I've recently been listening to the CMS's from last dec (up to about the 16th now) so am fully getting the whole Christmas build up - a little early perhaps, but meh.

Thats my advice to y'all. Re-live the DtD for No1 campaign and Dave's Christmas rap etc.

This is a great idea. I am loving the daily breakfast show replay podcasts but am wondering why I didn't also think about downloading and listening to past December shows now. The things I have been listening to are Dominick the Donkey as well as the Christmas theme bed. I need to put it in Audacity or other program to extend it more than its current minute and a half.
