I hate snow. The only time it is acceptable is when it starts at 8pm on Christmas eve, as I am getting home from church, and don't have to go out again for a week.

I know it looks pretty, but even when marvelling at its beauty I will still be thinking "How am I going to get to work/get the shopping done/get Baby Yudster to and from training/etc". Kind of ruins the magic for me.

Snow is great, in the Alps. Over here it jus' messes everything up.

I agree. Snow should stay where snow belongs. In the north of England and Scotland, where I am not.

I think we have this debate around this time every year, and we're always split into those who love snow and those who curse its arrival :)

My flatmate is in hospital and has been tentatively diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. I'm currently googling trying to figure out what that is! He and I haven't been getting on that great recently and I'm both still pissed off at him and really worried about him. :(

Basically its a non-diagnosis, more of a description of symptoms - it means loss of feeling in the extremities. I imagine they will be trying to find out the cause, which will be the real diagnosis.

Yeah, he's having an MRI this morning. He's been having the pain and numbness in his legs for a couple weeks now. It's all very strange.

No thank you! Although if I lived in a country which knew how to deal with snow, I'm sure I wouldn't hate it so much.

It was loads worse in North Kent, I stayed at my parents last night and I had to deal with all this crap:

Just outside Sittingbourne that was. T Wells is rubbish, there's none here, hence why work wondered why I was 45 minutes late!

Annoying me - not being able to please certain people, or a certain person. When I do something, I'm criticised for how it's been done. If I don't do something I get moaned at. I'm basically in a lose lose situation & it's doing me head in!

Is this were sex you're talking about? Sure as hell sounds like it could be.
Just remember. Work the shaft and play with the balls.

You are welcome.

Flatmate has been diagnosed with Guillian-Barre syndrome. He's having a lumbar puncture followed by intravenous immunoglobulins. I am quite worried now.

Its potentially serious Nic, but the treatment tends to work - he should make a full recovery. Don't worry.
