Thanks for that suggestion. Strangely enough, my worries were not solely based on what I would do with his room if he dies. (There is a 1-2% death rate for his condition according to wiki.) I suspect that I've missed a comment that has been edited since, which is probably for the best as I've been quite upset anyway.

Last year we went to this showing of the Snowman (http://www.london-theatreland.co.uk/the ... nowman.php) thinking it would be a lovely musical, orchestral interpretation.
While it wasn't that - it WAS suitable for kids, and quite well done. Tickets were around £15 for us, and it's on this year!
