I've now had Wham's Last Christmas playing in my head since however long ago it was that I read this post.

It probably came out the same year as Vienna.

Damnit, I never made the connection myself but now you've mentioned this my head's started doing the same thing...!
It came out 3 years after Vienna, but it's still the same era I guess.

Whenever I'm in London I have Lean On Me I Won't Fall Over by Carter USM in my head the whole time cos I can't see the words "Hammersmith and City Line" without thinking of it.

Yes, I got it as well neilt0. Humour is lost on some people.

Strange, I get No Sleep till Hammersmith whenever I see that particular line.

Which is a bit of a nuisance as its an album.

Dave was on with Phil Williams (who was standing in for Bacon) today for the Moan-In on 5live. It's my favourite feature of the show anyway because it always gives me a laugh, but I especially enjoyed it today. It was great hearing Dave's voice on the radio again, complaining about his deodorant patches and Nicole being an 'unexpected item' on a self-service check-out. He also managed to use the phrase 'our game, our rules'. He was on from about an hour and 40 minutes into the show.

An interview with Dave about the Marathon Radio Show (he talks about Chris briefly): http://www.mixcloud.com/elspethwoolsey/ ... medy-dave/

"During a 24 hour show raising money for Children in Need, David Vitty aka. Comedy Dave, former co-host on BBC Radio 1's breakfast show phoned our studio for a chat.

The interview was arranged due to the Guinness World Record Chris Moyles and him set presenting a 52hour show. And because Comedy Dave is a University Graduate of The Cat Radio.

During the interview we talked about the record breaking radio show, his time at Radio 1, being a student at Warrington, his future plans and his famous Tedious Link.

An absolute gent who was brilliant to chat to.

First Broadcast: The Cat Radio Thursday 15th November 2012 (Live)"

Shit, hearing Dave "on the radio" again, doing a Tedious Link has made me come over all emotional. The 4 hours sleep after the last Chris Moyles Live show + 2 pints of Stella may have have contributed to the emotionalness.

I'm watching the classic film "Grand Prix (1966)". Dave's Dad is in the crowd during the opening titles!

He's been doing it for years. Do your research.

Yes I know, but it was worth repeating.

I am very sorry but I am not researching every aspect of the teams lives just in case something that is posted that is already common knowledge gets repeated. If you already knew this then why even bother commenting?

My god...

It's basic Chris Moyles show knowledge. Dom has mentioned it on air on multiple occasions and has tweeted about it almost on a weekly basis since the show ended.

Thank you for calling me god though. Very nice of you.
