I am very sorry but I am not researching every aspect of the teams lives just in case something that is posted that is already common knowledge gets repeated. If you already knew this then why even bother commenting?

My god...

It's basic Chris Moyles show knowledge.

Nah.

Still, this is probably why they stopped posting 8 years ago.

It's not common knowledge to someone who didn't listen to the show on a daily basis.

Remember, we're a mixed ability group :P

I made the same mistake RE voice training. People weren't as harsh to me then though.

Like many, I'd like to think this means the return of Chris. Chris and Dom together would be great. Right now though it seems unlikely that Chris will be on the radio anytime soon, making 2013 the foul year of our lord -in the words of Hunter S. Thompson. I hope Chris does return to the air and soon.

Going by this tweet it looks like Dave will be working for BBC Three Counties on Saturday.

I'm looking for anyone who's been adversely affected by drinking "counterfeit alcohol", to speak to @davidvitty on @bbc3cr on Saturday...

And whilst I was watching This Morning earlier they plugged an appearance by Chris and Stacey Solomon tomorrow, didn't say exactly what time they'd be on.

Something I've wondered about every now and then - how interconnected is BBC national radio with the local radio stations? Does the national license fee cover everybody or do the locals get their money from local funding sources? If the latter I'd imagine then that there's a fair amount of inequity between the various local stations given the differences in amount of money available from region to region.

Just curious.

They're all just funded from the license fee, I believe.The main BBC Radio exception is the 'BBC World Service', which is currently funded by the Government's Foreign and Commonwealth Office, though even that'll be funded by the licence fee from 2014.

Thanks for the info. The bit about Dave's new gig reminded me about asking that question.

According to the BBC's 2011/12 Annual Report its income can be broken down, as follows:

£3,606.3 million in licence fees collected from householders;
£222 million from BBC Commercial Businesses;
£279.4 million from government grants;
£271.9 million from other income, such as providing content to overseas broadcasters and concert ticket sales
