Alas, I fear Neil may be right about Mr Red's ex. She has a lot of issues with depression and whilst she does take medication and have counselling, I think she's also just a whiny, self-pitying sort of person - and that's a different thing. It's all very complicated. The good news is that many of his friends have now come out and said they never liked her, and are commenting on how much happier he seems now he's with me. So I feel confident that I'm a positive influence, despite her attempts to spread these nasty rumours.

It isn't Chris's job to ensure the quality of posting on the boards. Stunningly enough, its ours - so if you think its boring here, the first pace you need to look for a solution is yourself.

Well, I expect someone will be able to locate the series of posts from years ago when I got told off for exactly the same thing....

Didn't Misfit mean that Mr Moyles needs to do something new, rather than Mr Harris?...

Ha - yes, he probably did - but my point holds up either way (although I have to admit I was thinking Harris not Moyles...)

But I do think it's a fair point that the forum will naturally get quieter without anything Moyles-related to discuss. I agree that Mr Moyles does need to do SOMETHING to keep the site a going concern - otherwise it will just become an archive, and whilst it's a pretty impressive archive, it would be a shame for the forum part to die a death.

This forum is always quiet when there are allot of Holidays, I think it's secondary use is "coffee break"

Allot of the "Gardening" forums I go on are the reverse.

* Buddies is always buzier in the evenings and at weekends.

My colleague is emigrating to Australia in six weeks, which I understand must be a huge, life-changing and daunting event, but he NEVER STOPS talking about it. He seems to find an excuse to tell every customer as well as parroting on about it to the office pretty much constantly. My own cousins emigrated out there about 8 years ago and I swear I heard less about it from them in the run-up than I have from him.

I cannot believe we're in 2013 (with all our flying cars and robot girlfriends) and Virgin Media are still as big a shower of useless idiots as NTL were in 1999.

Gah!

45 minutes on the phone, 6 conflicting price quotes for a simple bloody service order.

GAH!

My new silver necklace tarnishes every time I wear it. Apparently this is something to do with higher quality silver oxidizing with the air more quickly? Whatever, I spent half an hour cleaning it to perfection last night and now it's all grubby again. I've ordered some anti-tarnish paper to store it in but in the meantime, it's irritating me.

You do the same with your boyfriend. He probably doesn't realise he is doing it. It's a natural human reaction to be excited about things like new relationships, life changing events etc. I did the same thing when my kids were born and I slowly realised that nobody really gave that much of a crap apart from me.

I probably do do the same on here, yeah. I barely ever mention him at work unless asked, though. And no, my colleague doesn't realise at all, which is why I don't get angry about it with him - I just end up venting on here :)
