I watched about 15mins of it and gave up and switched it off. It just didn't hold my interest at all. I suspect it really isn't aimed at me though.

I am looking forward to The Following, with Kevin Bacon and the gorgeous James Purefoy which starts on 22 Jan. Looks interesting to me.

I'm going to check this one out as well. Partly because the name of the serial killer Purefoy plays, Joe Carroll, is the exact same of an old college friend of mine. But the premise looks pretty interesting as well.

Any "Being Human" fans here? My wife and I were big fans of the 1st 3 series of the UK version. Have to admit, we still have 4 episodes of the last series (4th) sitting on the DVR. Lost a lot of interest in the show once Russell Tovey and Aidan Turner left. Slowly getting around to finishing that up.

As for the US version of the show, we both had a lot of resistance to it when it came out 2 years ago, but it's gotten to a point where it can stand alone from the original version and it's pretty good IMO. The 3rd season of that version just started here last night, but we won't get a chance to watch it until the weekend

Add me to that list.
Well the list for looking forward to seeing this show. Not the list for attending a college with a guy called Joe Carroll.

My wife and I watched the first episode of The Following last night. We both thought it was pretty good. Disturbing, but good, and worth watching a few more episodes.

And we finally finished the last series of Being Human (UK version). I was wrong - the last 4-5 episodes turned out to be well worth watching. Looking forward to the next series which starts in the very near future.

The trailers that have been shown over the last two weeks for this have made me determined to avoid it. It looks beyond excruciating.

I actually really like The New Normal. Or so far anyway.

Like Yuds, the trailers have really put me off the New Normal. I sat and watched a few minutes of it, and I didn't enjoy it. Maybe I'll give it another go in the future.

I've been whizzing through the first season of Community, and whilst I'm really enjoying it - I find it strange that I don't feel an affinity toward any of their characters. I think Abed is a wonderful creation though, breaks the forth wall with such accuracy.

I've been watching Borgen, the Danish political drama. It is interesting and slowly develops similar to The Killing.
I'm enjoying the new season of 8 Out Of 10 Cats. Sean Lock was very funny last week when he was talking about horse meat.

I'm interested in watching the Cape chapter, since I've been down there. Going to watch the two part series on kangaroos. I've seen some clips and looks great, plus watching baby kangaroos wearing nappies and hopping around in a house looks funny.

Derek with Ricky Gervais starts tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm. Slightly unsure about the Show now as the reviews have come out and so far they're not great. Still going to give it a try though as I liked the pilot.

I've got them Sky Plus'd but haven't got round to watching em yet, i'm a huge Gervais and Pilkinton fan so I can't see myself getting disappointed.

Gervais' comedy is usually nasty and I have never particularly liked him since the 11 O'Clock Show... that said, I like Stephen Merchant.

Anyone else watch Danny Baker's Album Showdown last night? I really enjoyed it. BBC4, as good TV usually seems to be these days.

Damn, I had been meaning to watch that and totally forgot! I think it deserves to be watched on the TV rather than the laptop, so I shall iPlayer it on the Wii.

And how very embarrassing that I did however manage to record ITV2's Big Reunion last week. I haven't got around to watching it yet, and probably never will, but I was just mildly curious...
