Anyway, bit of update. I had an interview last week and they have offered me a position, bit of a hit on the cash front thinking, so me n Mrs DTJ need to have a chat and decide if we can make things work with me losing around 40% earning power...

On a more positive note, me and Mrs DTJ have spent the last few days sunning ourselves in Portugal, which is nice.

Arrived Sunday, Mrs DTJ drank too much and passed out. Monday Mrs DTJ drank too much, threw up and passed out. I was so proud! :-s Yesterday was much calmer day and today has been wonderful. I've spent most of my time going; sauna, pool, steam room, pool, bar, sauna, pool, sauna, pool, bar etc. The indoor pool is only 25M long, so even with my basic maths, I make that 40 lengths per Km, done at least 1km each day and did 2.5 yesterday!

Back tomorrow. Boo.

Mr Red LOVES Mr and Mrs Red Moomin. Twice last night he looked at it and did that sort of vaguely hysterical laughing where you lie on your back and hold your stomach. He also addressed me as "Mrs Moomin" more than once. New pet name! I think I preferred "doofus"

Yes mate, s'in Leicester, which'd be great, halving my travel time and expense. In real terms, after subtracting travel from both wages, it'd mean I'm about 6-7k down per annum. But as I've said before, my long travel only inconvenienced me, but the £ benefits my whole family. Don't want my decisions to impact the kids lifestyle too much... tough decisions.
