How did you come by the photos of my mother?

*on

And arduously.

Innit!

Where I live is right between Dartmoor and Bodmin moor, along the Granite Fault line, and I live down a valley, but with a big river right by my house, I have a number of fields which often get very wet, and are very steep, Yorkshire Lad, you don't know you're born.

On the up side we also have roads, and I have a car, combine these two and I don't * walk anywhere!...

Sticking two fingers up to the corporate world and becoming self employed selling dresses and fings on ebay (as a temporary measure while I retrain away from IT)

So yeah, go here and buy stuff.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say it won't fit you.

I only read down to rule 2 before getting bored.

Congratulations Bruvva (that sounds like I'm addressing you in street speak doesn't it?) What are you training for?

Looking at radiography courses, early days and we'll see how it goes. Wife's working now and ebay will help fill the gaps while I re-train. I just need to be in something that isn't all about the "bottom line".

You only just went to a new job didn't you - what went wrong?

So me and Katie went for a flat viewing today. £625 a month for 2 beds and even an en suite shower. We're a little bit in love with it. If we can negotiate furnishings then we think we're going to put a deposit down. Exciting times!

Good luck, rental prices are bloody extortionate at the moment though.

It seems like a really good price. To be fair the ensuite is literally a shower and a sink but it all looks really nice. I'm paying £368 a month this year as well so it works out cheaper as well.

That is exciting! The one we looked at last week was £725, also two beds with an en suite. City centre prices have definitely gone up since I moved into my current place, but then so has everything, so I think that's still pretty reasonable.

Wow it's cheap up north.

I'm paying £795/mo for a 2 bed flat with en-suite technically on the outskirts of Maidstone, but in reality in the middle of some woods!

Jeez to the house price comparison... for very similar money to what others mention, we get a 4 bed detached with 3 bathrooms!

We are lucky... we rent from my aunt - three bed semi for £595. It was reasonable when we moved in, it's bloody good now.

Wasn't for me, didn't enjoy it and, frankly, wasn't any good at it. I'd already started interviewing for new jobs before the end of the parole period (after which they decided they didn't want to keep me anyway). I could bang on about the total lack of support from the management after I stressed in the interview that it was a new role and I'd need guidance but, frankly, I can't be bothered with it anymore.
