I made a parody account of https://twitter.com/Wildaboutmusic a while ago (I can't remember what the parody account is now!) and he took it as a compliment.

Count the names dropped by Wild. Ridiculous. Also, he bought 40,000 or whatever fake followers, Twitter disabled them all, then he came up with numerous creative reasons for why his followers fluctuated so much.

Not really. Baby hippos are quite ugly really and I bet they have incredibly smelly breath, which makes me retch a little when I look at that picture.

I prefer baby animals with fur.

But surely when giving to charity it's a choice you make and not something you're forced into? I didn't even want to give in the first time cause I'm not massively excited about what the charity does and it's only a walk!

I agree - faced with a response like that, if it had been me I'd have withdrawn my sponsorship and given it to a cause that would be happy to receive it.

If it wasn't family then I certainly would have, although I'm not sure the just giving site lets you do that anyway actually.

Whenever someone I know is doing something like that for charity I always donate a fiver and I think that's a perfectly reasonable amount for someone on a low income. To call anyone who's donated any money at all "tight" is kind of ungracious and against the spirit of the whole thing.

Idiots on my Facebook who think the world wants to hear about how much they drunk last night and how bad their hangovers are. The post about it like its some sort of massive achievement.

Sorry to hear that Lottie, hope you get sorted.

Regarding charitable collectors, I give to the less 'in your face' ones, the 'guilt trip' approach really puts me off.

Baby Yudster has been ill all weekend and last night threw up and exploded at the other end every hour from 7:30pm to 5:30am. Tired. Much.
