Memorised it yesterday. If you're going to do it, do it right :D

Thanks Lottie, I kind of (reluctantly) feel the same way about Liverpool signing a couple of decent center backs (especially Sakho, who is very, very good). Most of all, I'm happy that Arsene made a signing which will get people off his back. Özil came out and said specifically that talking to Wenger convinced him to join, and earlier Wilshere stated he might consider leaving if Wenger was forced out. I hope we get a few positive results and maybe win a cup this year - with a new contract for the manager.

also, with everyone strengthening, I would love to see 5/6 different teams in the mix for the title until about March. It's looking like City/Utd/Chelsea will be going for top spot while Arsenal/Spurs/Liverpool will be going for Champions league - which is positive for the league as Everton & Swansea might hopefully put in a good showing too.

I'm not disappointed in signing Mr big hair. I'm disappointed that we paid more than we should have!

In my opinion Fellaini is what we need.

I think him and Carrick playing cm with Kagawa to the left Valencia/Wellbeck to the right and fatman and Robin upfront is a pretty formidable line up. I see United playing a 4-2-3-1 formation that can be changed to a 442 dependent in the opponent.

The problems against Liverpool were Giggs and Cleverly. Giggs is fine against the lower level opponents or coming off the bench, but cleverly is rubbish when under pressure.

The defence could only pass to Carrick or hit it long... Or really hard at De Gea.

With Fellaini they have another out ball and Kagawa could be are spark player if Moyes gives him a chance

Uncle Woy's Boys v Moldova tonight then, should be a fairly routine 3-0 win, doubt England'll bust a gut seeing as Ukraine away's up next. Also, Poland getting a result against Montenegro would be very handy as well, a Poland win puts England top of their group, I think.

Well, it's been wet all day so if plucky Moldova can get the ball forward then there's every chance Hart'll fumble it. We may scrape a 1-1 ;)

The FA charge £50 for the cheap tickets for this game and look at the results. Poor turnout due to pricing regular people out.

Heh, I was going to say Welbeck's been Moldova's best defender, then he got booked and promptly scored 2 goals. He'd been AWFUL up until then.

Ukraine v England at half time.

You know I said Liverpool v Ipswich was the worst game of football I've ever watched? This is giving it a run for its money. Ukraine lumping it forward waiting for Cahill or Hart to balls it up. Theo Walcott running AS FAST AS HE CAN into the nearest defender. Gerrard hitting long passes to noone in particular. Lampard being useless.

Clive and Andy on telly are telling me it's fascinating though.

Oh aye, he's on the pitch isn't he? Can't say as I'd noticed.

Special mention must be made for Kyle Walker. *. ing. hell. Definition of a "modern" fullback, i.e. can't defend.

We don't deserve qualification based on this display. We'll get tanked in the World Cup playing like this. Every time Walcott hits a misplaced pass part of me dies.

Oh * me, Cleverley's coming on.

We have genuinely attacking players in Townsend and Sterling on the bench....but we bring on Cleverley.

Roy Hodgson and the rest of the players are really happy with the performance last night against Ukraine. In a sentence that is what's wrong with English football. I was embarrassed watching us last night and why the England team and manager think the job is done in terms of qualification is beyond me. We will not beat Poland playing like that we probably wouldn't even beat Montenegro. Poland especially are a good team and will have no fear coming to Wembley to play us.

DimTim in 100% couldn't-give-a-$hit-about-England-football-anymore shocker.

It's ALWAYS a let down watching England play, so I've given up. My life is richer for it.
