The Tedious transcripts reflect the start of the Golden Hour - you'll notice that in late 2007 they stopped doing Tedious on Fridays. From thereon it was a permanent fixture. As for the 80s show, I'm the same age as Chris and feel perfectly well equipped to do such a show. If you grew up a radio geek, like Chris obviously did, you'll have a clear memory of the charts from a pretty young age. It's only if the show covered more obscure or album tracks that I suspect his knowledge might fall down. I dunno about Sara - I don't feel like I know enough about her musical background to know how well she'll do.

Sara Cox is a good DJ. A good DJ will be capable of doing a radio show about any genre.

The canal boat show I mentioned was a one off rather than a regular slot. I distinctly remember Chris thanking either Jon Wolfort or Steve England for letting him play the classic jingles.

The Dave/Dom podcast will be great for nostalgia, but I can only see it crashing & burning!

I'm ashamed to say that I used to watch an old Baddiel and Skinner Live DVD again and again when I was younger. I thought it was hilarious.

Chappers, Dave & Dom would be excellent on a Fantasy Football style programme.

I went to see their Live and Unplanned show being filmed once and it was very funny. I don't get the animosity towards them, I find them both genuinely funny.

I'm from the Newman & Baddiel era - I loved them. But I did also love Baddiel & Skinner back in the Fantasy Football days - in fact I almost popped a stitch in my hip from laughing whilst watching one of their 1998 World Cup shows in my hospital bed. Their 'improvised' chat style would have lent itself very well to a podcast. I doubt very much that Dave and Dom have that same kind of natural wit and humour, but I'll still listen to their podcast if and when it surfaces.

I'm really looking forward to hearing something new from Dave and Dom. They were both great members of the team on The Chris Moyles Show and I think those two working together on a podcast could be gold. Not heard it yet so can't really form an opinion on it. I'm looking forward to hearing something new to say the least.

Hi all, I just wanted to say that I know Dave a little - I have worked with him - and he is a really nice, warm, genuine guy. Just to give you an example when I first met him I initially only worked with him for one day and then didn't see him for nearly 2 months and yet he still remembered who I was and our conversations from 2 months previous...from anyone else that I know who has worked with him they have all said the same thing. Everyone is of course entitled to their opinion and I can understand why people may get a negative impression of him but as a fan of the CM show and the whole team I thought I should say something nice and positive from my own experience :)

The actress Gwen Taylor once leaned over the box office counter and pulled my pigtail. I don't know why. I have no pictures of the incident.

I won't have that! Here's where I am obliged to mention that I know for a fact Cheggers is a lovely bloke, whatever you may think about him professionally.
