Thoughts?

I think it's a good thing, from what I've heard of the story it's absolutely sick, people like him don't deserve to wander planet earth anymore. Flithy scum bag.

There was an interesting article on the BBC site which contained some analysis by people from the National Crime Agency and Wales' specialist investigations team:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-25108690

In the article, they mention that he groomed the women to commit abuse. We tend to think of grooming as something that only happens to young kids, but in fact one can groom anyone for any purpose. I suspect he used sex, drugs, money and a lavish lifestyle to lure them in. Not that that explains why they didn't have that natural parental instinct to protect their children - but it does go some way to understanding their part in the abuse. I think knowing the nature of crack cocaine as a drug also helps - as someone I know said, it "lets the monster out of the cage" in a way that some other drugs don't. I also know there are rumours in the metal community that he's allegedly the father of one of the abused children, but I have no idea if there's any truth in that.

I think you should try listening to even shittier band. Become a fan of the Vamps and watch as a queue of mildly attractive, slightly overweight girls arrive at your door.

This lot are currently giving me wowsers in my trousers. They've a fantastic first album, and decent 2nd too. Very talented bunch of musicians. Y'know, if you're in to this sort of thing.

I have actually already seen them live, when they were supporting Mcfly earlier in the year and they were pretty good. My ex flatmates bandmate also used to be in a band with one of them I believe.

Today I bought Kings of Leon's Album 'Youth and Young Manhood' from 2003. Absolutely awesome stuff, I never really liked Kings of Leon but they've really grown on me.

I have the Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones CD on my wishlist but didn't get it for Christmas - hoping someone buys it me for my birthday! I've heard a sample online and really liked it.

I still quite like the Chvrches album but part of me can't help thinking it could easily have been recorded in 1986.

Mainly thanks to Fifa, I've been rather enjoying this chirpy band. Not my usual cup of tea, but very catchy and likeable.

I've decided to start listening to TCMS podcasts again... Although highly amusing and making me actually LOL, it does make me quite nostalgic and reminds me how much of a loss the daily Moyles radio show still is.

Still on 2005 ones at moment, so some old references and out dated guests etc, but still such great radio; funny stuff.

Not you as well. Ruddy kids...

Yes JayE, its not technically music, but as I'm listening to it instead of the music which I have recently been enjoying, I took this as the relevant thread to comment upon it.

Sincere apologies if you deem my choice unsuitable, but in reality; who gives a *?!! This place is slowly dying it's death, I had a mildly relevant reference to the CHRIS MOYLES forum, so posted it. Sorry...

I've really got back into Queen this month, after seeing We Will Rock You at the Dominion I decided to upload all their albums to my phone. Freddie Mercury's voice is still a delight to hear, shame he's no longer with us, would have been interesting to see where he/Queen would have gone had he not passed away, they were always know for experimenting with their sound so it'd been interesting to see what the 90's & 00's would have bought from them.

I read somewhere that Noel Gallagher thinks this is the best new UK band out there currently. Total retro 60's psychedelic rock.
