I posted a bit about that on The Reddits: https://www.reddit.com/r/ChrisMoyles/co ... _new_show/

So, assuming Chris returns and is on XFM, we'll need a way to listen to and/or record the show!
I can get XFM on FM where I live, but I am looking at recording the show via DAB. There may be podcasts of the show, but who knows if they will be edited? I'd like to have the option of recording the full shows myself.
So, I looked in to a USB DAB receiver. I think I still have the Psion Wavefinder in the loft somewhere, but I dunno if it will work any more.
I did find this £8 USB stick, which is deceptively versatile: http://www.amazon.co.uk/KEEDOX%C2%AE-RT ... ds=dab+usb and I think I'm going to get one to try it out.
It's a "radio" in a USB stick. As in, it can be used as a software designed radio to pick up any kind of radio signal, from DAB to TV to aircraft comms. Interesting.

Just had an argument with some liberal on Twitter who signed this piece of shit of a petition. When I asked for an example of Moyles being racist she just told me to "read the petition" bet she has barely heard of the guy, just wants to make some noise.

That's a perfect example of why I quit twitter. I know I can't resist getting involved with arguments like that and it's not good for my mental health. I defended Moyles against Katie Hopkins and her crazy misogynistic, racist, fat-hating followers savaged me - that was enough for me. I'm pretty tough on the internet but I just don't have the energy for that stuff in my old age.

You say 'liberal' like it's automatically a bad thing. I'm a (small-L) liberal and I like Moyles, they're not mutually exclusive.

And anyone wanting to join Reddit to discuss the show needs to be aware of all the pro-rape stuff on there. Even just glancing some of the titles is very difficult. I wouldn't want anyone to not realise and be triggered - I knew that reddit is a cesspool of humanity and it's still upset me.

They're cleaning up Reddit, but that's a bit like saying "Don't go on the Internet, there's bad stuff on there".

I'm not going to see any bad stuff in the subreddits I frequent.

You're right of course. But calling her a liberal was nicer than calling her a *, which is what she was.

Ok, I emailed Chris (not Moyles but the man in charge of XFM) recently and mention how excited I was for Chris' return to radio and when he replied he did not mention Moyles in any way...

What do we taken from this, good news or bad??

Who knows, no one is talking about it at this point, Chris (Moyles) isn't talking about it, he's been mute on Twitter since the news reports started coming out, Jon Holmes made subtle jokes about it the first show back and hasn't mentioned it since. There has been no official announcement yet either, if it's true they're probably waiting till closer to the time before they spill anything official.

You really think that Aled would abandon his career at BBC Radio 1 where he has been promoted twice since the end of The Breakfast Show and is showing signs of climbing even further to go and work on a breakfast show on a digital radio station that the vast majority of people can't even listen to? Really? That's what you think?

What is Aled's job now then? I'd assume one promotion is exec producer?

I think the fact that everyone's so quiet is a good thing. They probably try work things out, like decide what the show is going to be like and how everything's going to work. If this was a hundred percent not true, we would have heard something by now. People just aren't allowed to talk about it until they announce everything officially in a month's time :)

He is an editor now, not a producer.

You never know, you're probably right although tough times at the BBC and he does get along very well with Chris!

Alright, calm down. I didn't actually know what Aled does these days, just that he has said that he loved working with Chris.

I don't recall being un-calm, but ok!Of all of them, Aled is the one who to me really seems to have moved on in a positive way. Dom is titting about with bits and bobs, Dave is - well does anyone know what Dave is doing?, Tina is still at the BBC I think. I don;t believe Chris has been idle just because I don't know what he has been working on, but it hasn't been anything with a profile yet. I think Aled is over it.

I think that indicates the enjoyment of a happy memory rather than a hankering to revisit the past. I reckon he's good where he is. Although if I'm wrong I agree it would be brilliant.
