With the specialist nature of the station, the regular guests Chris liked are going to be difficult at times, thinking about who they got on as their faves towards the end of the R1 show & others they liked

Davina - Maybe just about, not sure if they are still in touch but might not quite fit the demographic

Robbie Savage - Would say yes
James Corden - 100% yes (unfortunately)
Various boybands - No
Pink - No
Phil/Holly - No
Gary Barlow - Not a chance
Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) - 100% Yes

I can't think of others but hope my point stands, either Chris gets who he likes in or he ends up interviewing people he's not that bothered about

Would be nice to see Jimmy Carr just before Christmas like he'd used to do. I'm sure I'd he is plugging a new DVD or show he'd come to the new show.

Honestly, I think Chris will get whoever he wants. Global know who the star of the show is on Radio X and should be accommodating to the guests he wants on the show. After all, having guests on that he likes will lead to a better atmosphere and a better show overall. Time will tell, though.

I disagree, I think there's a strong chance the likes of Barlow will appear - Chris has already said he wants Taylor Swift on and loves the idea of her coming on a station that's never played any of her music... I know this was a bit of a joke, but if he could land one of those people (and Barlow is friendly with him), I think he would find it hilarious to jump at the chance.

I thought Chris might change his style a little bit to fit the music/target market but so far, it doesn't look like it

Some of it depends on who he has stayed in touch with, he mentioned Olly Murs yesterday so he might pop up probably angering all XFM fans.

Hopefully Davina does pop up, always a fave
