Same show, same shit, same music from the R1 days, sorry but I'm heading back to 6 music.

Same music from the R1 days? Stones, Hendrix, Bowie and Undertones all in the same week...when did you last hear that on R1?

Madam is fine. Give him time. I don't consider him as "the" sidekick.
Chris does need a sidekick really, but this week's shows have been excellent, so maybe Dom and co. are enough of a group to bounce things off.

Odd John was hilarious. Wow. Proper mentalist!

RE: Madam, watching the Radio X TCMS videos on FB, I was a bit annoyed at Pippa -- she does the silent laughing thing. If something's funny, laugh in to the mic! It's not a bad thing!

Very much enjoying The Platinum Hour. I ducking hated The Golden Hour, because it was essentially "Chris And Dave (RIP) Pick The Same Old 90s BritPop Shit Every Week".

Yeah, the GH got very repetitive after a while. "When did you last hear THIS?" Uh, six weeks ago when you last played it on the Golden Hour.

Has the podcast gone up yet or is it me who can't find it
#506780
Done thanks for that. It is still test at the minute

Ooh and it has an even nicer cover picture you can use on the full show RSS feed.

The description of the test file appears to be for the first proper podcast, and says there will be bonus content

Now to make our own RSS feed with chapters... :D

Maybe not, don't want to step on too many of their toes :)

Have to say I'm really pissed that Comedy Dave appears to have been erased from Chris Moyles Show history...someone that was as big a part of the show as Chris and just seems to have been as I said erased from memory. Wonder are guests and callers instructed not to mention him on air?

I've loved the first week of shows. Got to admit-they're a lot better than I thought they would be at such an early stage.

I agree with a few other comments-I'd like a few more features, but I think they will come with time and most of the best ones used to come out of the blue anyway.

With regards Madame, he has seemed pretty quiet and reluctant to join in sometimes but I think that will come when he feels more comfortable and less of an outsider/newcomer.

I'm a little bit surprised that Chris has referenced the 'other' show so much but it's better to mention things as it would be a lot weirder if he pretended like it never happened-with the exception of Comedy Dave, it's pretty clear they're not friends anymore.

You and me both but not only that I'm really missing the quirky/surreal and often inappropriate humour he used to bring which complimented Chris' style. His absence is definitely felt by me at least.

I know it's early days but so far I can't help but feel a bit flat about the new show.

Also Roy loosing the on-air vote is a big injustice. Rob DJ was always going to win a vote taken at the time his feature used to go out. I don't mind Rob but I'd say the quiz is probably bigger than him and was the thing people were actually voting for rather than his on-air personality.

I wish they would just address the fact Dave isn't there.

They don't even need to tell the truth.

Dave's running his own company and wants to concentrate on that.

For as long as they don't address it, people will always ask, where's Dave?

And Dave was such a huge part - bigger than Aled, Rachel, Tina, Carrie, Will..... just seems so wrong not to mention him at all.
