Oh, Christ knows. Something about no breakfast show on xmas eve, but a 4 hour platinum hour from 9pm...then a recorded show on xmas day...then back as normal next week but not normal, from 9am...I'm completely lost. Scott is on the R1 breakfast show from Monday so I'm tempted to just listen live to that and download Ian's edited Moyles shows to listen to on the way home from work instead.

Give Jon Holmes a chance, sometimes he can go into a cheesy DJ voice but once you bear with that, his show at the weekends has been very funny.

I caught an hour or so of the extended Platinum Hour on Christmas Eve. Good bit of VT-work and nice to have an ad-free 4 hours, but it seemed like every song had already been played in a previous Platinum Hour.

Absolutely loving Dom on the new show. I think he's stepped up hugely and it's showing with the banter. I was a bit skeptical at first because news reading is one of the more serious roles on the show and he used to mention his family a fair bit on the old show, but on RadioX, he's been fantastic!

Does the show need a 5th member? I think a few months ago, I would have said yes, but with Dave really getting into it too, I think this team is perfect.

I spent Christmas Day with family and friends one of which was Roy Walker! Such a nice bloke. I asked if Chris was bringing back car park catchphrase. He said he had met with Aled the previous week about it which must mean Chris and Aled are still working together in some capacity. He also said they needed to get Dave back on board but he was working independently making and producing jingles. He said car park catchphrase was one of the funniest things he had done and loved it.

Been pleasantly surprised with the amount of fresh material in the 'best of' shows. It's very well executed and a shining example of how to properly do pre-recording.

Yeah I feel like I'm missing out on the new content in both the podcasts and the best of shows because it sounds like there is a fair bit of it. But I don't know if there's enough there to make them worth editing.

I think it's working very well now, all four seem to be working well together. I think Dom has replaced Dave on the show now as sidekick, he's been great as ever.

That been said if they want to bring in another member I wouldn't object.

Aled meeting Roy Walker had nothing to do with Chris... they simply bumped in to eachother, Aled tweeted about it.
