I'm not sure when I'll upload them but if all goes well, It'll no longer than two weeks.

Good stuff. I'll be interested to listen to them.

Posting this here as opposed to starting a new thread, but looks like Comedy Dave has left Stripey Horse, the production company he was with for a couple of years, and I believe founded.

Wonder where next? Would love to hear him back on air, ideally alongside CM.

Where did you hear that as he is still on the website as a founding member and still using Twitter to get people to contact him for work related stuff?

Well he tweeted he was up early to do some filming. So maybe he just isn't head of development anymore or is now working for somebody else?

Live Streaming - Accessible for all...

August 31, 2016 • 2 Likes • 0 Comments

Anybody can live stream, and they're absolutely right. Anybody can do it from their phone to capture that first dance at their mate's wedding or their darling child blowing out the candles on their birthday cake. Anyone can do it from just about anywhere, but it never looks very good does it? Wobbly pictures normally held the wrong way up and then the back of somebody's head walking across the lens. It might be fine for your holiday videos, but it's not good enough for an event or a product launch or anything where the quality of the output needs to reflect the quality of your brand. If your output looks pony, then people assume your event or launch was equally underwhelming, and that's why you should really do it properly, if you're going to do it at all.

One of the things we specialise in at DVM is live streaming for corporate clients with the use of our de-rig galleries and our outside broadcast trailer. This gives us a mobile camera gallery that can be parked anywhere you like outside your event facility, beaming fully vision mixed pictures with graphics direct to Facebook or YouTube or wherever you like online, allowing you to make a real splash on social media, and allowing the world to participate live in your event and see the sort of quality output that befits your brand. With its ability to monitor and mix up to 16 HD sources on location, our outside broadcast trailer was custom designed by our team who bring with them more than 50 years combined experience in both studios and outside broadcasts. It's a brilliant bit of a kit, allowing production teams to leave with a master cut and iso recordings from each camera, all for a fraction of the cost of an outside broadcast unit or conventional de-rig facility. And on top of that, it's all totally scalable depending on the budget.

So, if you work in marketing, PR or events and have something really special that you want to share live with the world for maximum impact, then speak to us about how we can make this happen and turn your event into a live TV show.

Dave.

Alive? Deceased? Is he on Twitter? Instagram? On radio? In Hollywood shooting a film? Looking after wife and kids in North London? Sure, he'll have been on 60-70k a year at radio 1, not enough to see him through til the grim reaper calls though?

Just a quick one just out of interest not for any great exploration when the issue came up about Dave and Chris falling out I assume that was most like the around August 2012 ? It just occurred to me having got to about 2011 on the listened through all the real listen through it must’ve been about then prior to the show finishing.
Many thanks all

Was this on the show today? Have yet to listen...

And you were close, August 2011 is when he (Chris) went on holiday with Dave's ex. So not long after that.

My memory is that the show started to get a bit stale around 2011, and the 'reveal' of this story after the show ended seemed to go some way to explaining why.

I also recall on the penultimate show in the Radio Theatre, the 'Goodbye Show', they did a live stream/video feed on the red button, and they didn't cut away when they were playing songs. At one point it was just Chris and Dave sitting at the desk, and I remember thinking it was really weird that they weren't talking to each other or looking at each other at all.
